Taking away one star is for two reasons: 1) its early kitchen closing - food order not available from 8.30pm, which was when the fringe show just finished - and 2) the teeny tiny space of four five nine bar packed with the standing-up audience with no inclination. Even tho I did enjoy the show, I expected an ordinary room like the ones I’ve been to for fringe. I barely saw any of the singers’ faces.

The food is pretty good, the beer selection is good and the overall atmosphere is lively and fun. I will say the last time I went here (on a Thursday evening) there was a DJ outside who was just not amazing, playing music that you couldn't dance to which was just way too loud, it actually put me off a bit and made me leave early. Similarly, the bands inside often sound way too loud and without earplugs you'll get permanent sound damage. Great place, just turn it down a little! :)
