  The best bakery for pastries and sweets that I know of around the CBD. No one comes close.

  ☹ Writing this review wasn't easy for me because I purchased a special request cake from this business before where I specified that I wanted the Chocolate Torte cake to be thoroughly infused with real rum which I must say was the best cake I had ever tasted. Unfortunately this time when I ordered on the 11/2/2022 with pick up on the 12th the same type of cake from this business again I did NOT get the cake that I ordered especially made with the rum ! NO RUM in the cake at all! After cutting and serving pieces to my wife and friend of what was meant to be my wife's favourite Birthday cake was a complete disaster and disappointment to her and myself! What I can't and won't understand is why my instructions were not followed after I was told they would include the rum through the cake as I had it before. I would have paid more to have it included for goodness sake. All they had to do was let me know! To late to return it now it's been partially eaten. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS BUSINESS NOW!
  
  UPDATE TO MY REVIEW. Ok everyone I have called Angela (OWNER) today 22/2/2022 in response to her reply to my review regarding my great disappointment of my cake. After having a very pleasant and constructive discussion Angela was MOST aplologetic for the stuff up and really wanted to make it up to me for their mistake that was made. The two things that I REALLY respect and admire the most Is when a person or business accepts responsibility for their mistakes and offers to make things right to retain good relations.
  Thank you Angela for our chat and your offer to compensate! I will take a rain check on your offer for a later time if I can and thank you!

  Collected son in laws 50th birthday cake this morning at short notice. Awesome service and the cake was delicious. Have to add that their Cannoli is the the best. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
